While Rideshare apps like Uber & Lyft are available for rides to the island, please note that Uber and Lyft have limited coverage in the area and return rides to the airport are not possible once in Boca Grande. You will likely want to consider arranging a ride back to the airport through the Inn ahead of time. If you would like to coordinate a ride to the airport with friends and family, we have provided the shuttle options that the Inn provides below.
The easiest and most cost-effective way to get to Boca Grande is by renting a car. Parking is free and abundant. Once on island, you won’t need your car as you will be able to walk, bike or golf cart to all wedding festivities. Please note there are no gas stations on the island, so make sure to fuel before arriving. There is a small toll to cross the Boca Grande Bridge, cash and credit card are accepted.
Once you are on island, nearly everything is walkable, including all our wedding festivities. If you would like to cruise around on wheels instead, you can rent golf carts and bikes through the Gasparilla Inn. Options can be viewed below and reserved by calling 941.964.4625.
