Can you get an Uber or Lyft on the island? 

You may easily order an Uber or Lyft from the airport to the island. However, we strongly recommend arranging a car service back to the airport as Uber and Lyft are not readily available on the island. If you do not rent a car, please contact the Inn to organize pickup transportation back to the airport. All of the weekend activities are walking distance from the Inn. You may also rent golf carts or bikes if you prefer. 

What should I wear to the wedding festivities?

The Welcome Party on Friday night will be Florida Cocktail attire. We recommend button down and blazers for men and dresses of any length for ladies. Bright colors and festive Florida prints encouraged! The wedding attire is formal, we suggest suits or coat and ties for men and longer resort formal dresses for ladies. 

What is the dress code around the Gasparilla Inn?

Can we rent golf clubs if we do not wish to travel with our own?

Yes, please know you can coordinate the rental of golf clubs through the Gasparilla Golf Club.

What will the weather be like?

We recommend checking the weather prior to traveling. The events on Friday evening will be held outdoors. On Saturday, the cocktail hour will be held outdoors and our ceremony and dinner reception will be held indoors. 

I have a dietary restriction. How should I let you know? 

Our menus throughout the weekend will account for common dietary restrictions. However, if you have a specific allergy or restriction, please let Meryl know and we would be happy to accommodate (314-971-6010 or merylf56@gmail.com)

How can I find my way around the resort?

Check out the Inn’s property map here to find your way around the hotel, cottages, beach club, gym etc. You’ll also receive a printed copy at check in.
